Fast forward to today when we drive up to the fast food window to pay and eat high calorie, low nutrition food.  The only muscle moved is the right butt cheek to grab your wallet. So modern man and woman consume plenty of calories and have the storage capacity to keep the body going through the lean times, except we don’t have lean times. We have plenty of high calorie low exercise times.
